Top places to visit in Italy?




Where should I start? How much time can you devote to the main places to visit in Italy? Even if it is a small country, the size of New Zealand, it could take months to see all of it. Before you go, decide first for how long.

Two weeks are are good to see most of the main places to visit in Italy plus few villages and you can have a good taste of Italy, 10 days are fine to have the first impact with Italy and one week is also ok, considering that you could spend your time visiting at least three main towns.




Beautiful Italy is constituted by great wealth of History, Arts, Culture, Environment, traditions and could be also considered real terrestrial paradise, and more and more tourists from all over the world choose to visit it.

Thousands of tourist places in Italy are worth of "living" and "feel" at least once in life.

Every town and village offer historic buildings, museums or archaeological sites.

There are many historic towns and villages like Rome, Florence, Venice, Naples, Pompeii, Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Palermo, Agrigento, Milan, Turin, Genoa, Verona, Padua, Vicenza, Bologna, Ravenna, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Assisi, San Gimignano, Orvieto, Gubbio, Spoleto, Perugia, Volterra, Fiesole just to name few of them.

For a 2 weeks Italy tour, you could check Flight Deals to Italy, arrive in Rome and stay there the first 3-4 days without the need for a car yet.

Then, depends of the form of transportation you choose, you can spend 7-8 days in Tuscany visiting Florence and the Chianti wine region, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano and Umbria with Assisi, Orvieto Spoleto and Gubbio.



Venice in the north east deserve a visit with its Canals and romantic gondola rides before going back to Rome and be ready for your flight home.
